Admiralty TotalTide

The world’s most comprehensive tidal prediction program provides fast, accurate tidal height and tidal stream predictions. The software automates the prediction process, reduces the possibility of user error and provides an easy means of viewing both underkeel and safe overhead clearances. It contains tidal information for over 7,000 ports and more than 3,000 tidal stream stations worldwide. It is now accepted in place of the paper tide tables as carriage compliant by a large (and growing) number of flag states.
Official Data You Can Trust
Admiralty TotalTide has been designed to meet SOLAS carriage requirements and uses exactly the same official data provided in the paper admiralty tide tables. Information is sourced directly from national hydrographic offices.
Key Benefits
  • instant predictions and visual display functions enable safe port entry worldwide
  • real time tidal stream display improves situational awareness
  • graphical and textual search facilities enable information to be located quickly & easily
  • can be used in place of paper tide tables – please check with your regulatory authority
Maximum Flexibility
Global coverage is provided within seven area data sets on a single CD. You need only purchase the areas you require. Instant access to additional areas can be quickly and easily obtained by telephone, fax or email.
The UKHO is continually updating its worldwide database of harmonic and non-harmonic constants. This database contains over one million tidal constants and, in line with the admiralty tide tables, updates are issued on an annual basis. Mariners using admiralty TotalTide to meet carriage requirements for tidal publications must ensure that the latest available version is used.
